Fellow Sportsdrivers !

Our club was formally founded in 2001 and has been registered as non-profit association since February 2002. This carries certain advantages for all people concerned, since among others we aim to:

• organising on a regular basis driving events at an affordable cost at various tracks and grounds, such as licence-free practice runs on race tracks and circuits, sportive-dynamic Drive & Drift-Events, sportsdriver courses including licence preparation, instructor and marshal training, and this on various international race tracks and other professional testing grounds,

• coaching sportsdrivers, to optimize their own vehicle command and control, and thereby contributing to the prevention of accidents in daily road traffic, and this also for inexperienced drivers,

• pull sportive driving off and away from public roads on exclusively reserved and shut off grounds, race circuits and tracks and thereby providing the opportunity to all inter-ested car drivers, especially sports car drivers, to be active in motor sportive activities,

• collaborate with other clubs and organisations.

An Association has definitely better opportunities to hire various race tracks – and as such we will again be organising in 2007 licence-free practice runs for sportsdrivers, including premium race tracks such as Spa-Francorchamps and Nürburgring, usually supported by of experienced instructors, so that also less experienced sportsdrivers are enjoying the fasci-nation of driving on race tracks with the own car in a safe and proper manner. Since this is extremely time intensive and costly, our club seeks as many members as possible.

Everybody may become a Pistenclub e.V. member – members are given priority at the respective events, and participation at our events is offered at reduced participation fees. At present, the annual regular membership fee amounts to 75 Euros – and there are currently no admission fees (as at January 2009). Members have no obligation to provide any further organizational tasks.
